This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified small business sources for the requirement and (2) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. An organization that is not considered a small business under the applicable NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of responses received nor otherwise pay for the preparation of any information submitted. As a result of this SBSS notice, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Lee, may issue a Request for Proposal (RFP). THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. However, should such a requirement materialize, no basis for claims against MICC-Lee shall arise as a result of a response to this SBSS notice or the MICC's use of such information as either part of our evaluation process or in developing specifications for any subsequent requirement. All responses must provide clear and concise documentation that indicates a potential vendor's bona fide capability to provide the service described below. Respondents must provide a Capability Statement that addresses their organization's qualifications, and the ability to perform the below listed service as the prime contractor, in accordance with the attached DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW). All submitted information should fully support the vendor's definite capability and shall be provided at no cost to the Government. Background: USA-Ordnance School has nine different training divisions that require compressed gases in order to conduct training. The requirement for the selected services and supplies have been previously contracted under IDIQ Supply/Product contract for the past five years at Fort Lee, VA. Scope: Procure compressed gases supplies and equipment maintenance for machinist, welding and gas equipment in support of Army and Marine Corps functional training and other Ordnance School requirements to include special fabrication and repair projects. Anticipated Period of Performance: 20 July 2020 thru 19 July 2020 NAICS Code and Size Standard: In the event an RFP is issued, North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 325120 with a size standard of 1,000 employees is being considered.
