This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. No solicitation document exists and a formal solicitation may or may not be issued by the Government as a result of the responses to this SBSS. The Government will not be liable for payment of any response preparation expenses. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The U.S. Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) is issuing this SBSS seeking sources that can provide welding and metalworking supplies and equipment maintenance for machinist, welding and equipment. Background: USA-Ordnance School has nine different training divisions that require metalworking and welding supplies are required in direct support of courses at the US Army Ordnance School, Track, Metalworking and Recovery Training Department. Scope: Procure welding and metalworking supplies and equipment maintenance for machinist, welding and equipment in support of Army and Marine Corps functional training and other Ordnance School requirements to include special fabrication and repair projects. Anticipated Period of Performance: 20 July 2020 thru 19 July Dec 2023 NAICS Code and Size Standard: In the event an RFP is issued, North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 333992 with a size standard of 1,250 employees is being considered. Information Submission Instructions: Recommended SBSS Response Format All materials submitted in response to this SBSS must be unclassified. Vendors shall submit in writing NLT the closing date of this notice: - Company Name, Address, POCs, Phone Number(s), Email Address(es), Cage Code - Brief resume of performance of similar services of the magnitude described below, in accordance with the DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) - Contract number(s) and Points of Contact (POCs) for those contracts - Statement of whether the company is domestic or foreign owned - Size of business pursuant to NAICS code 333992; Business Size Standard 1,250 employees Please note: All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database.
