The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers -Huntsville Center (CEHNC), Contracting Directorate is seeking information from interested contractors who can provide services to perform the removal and disposal of Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) containing perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Work may also include removal, transportation, and disposal of other types of firefighting foams. This work is intended to support sites located throughout the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, the U.S. Territories, U.S. Territorial waters and Outlying areas as defined by FAR 2.101. The services provided under this contract will be used in support of various Department of Defense Commands and Installations and other federal agencies. THIS IS A REQUEST FRO INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This Request for Information (RFI) does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The RFI may be revised based on information received from the industry. CEHNC is not currently seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. CEHNC will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized at SAM.gov | Contract Opportunities (https://sam.gov/content/opportunities). It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor the site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. At this time, the Government does not have any additional information to provide in reference to this requirement. Questions in reference to the information provided shall to be included within your white paper response to the RFI. The Government will not be answering direct questions outside your white paper response to the RFI.
