The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville Center’s (CEHNC) Contracting Directorate is seeking information from interested contractors who can provide services to perform the removal and disposal of Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) containing perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Work may also include removal, transportation, and disposal of other types of firefighting foams. This work is intended to support sites located throughout the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, the U.S. Territories, U.S. Territorial waters and Outlying areas as defined by FAR 2.101. The services provided under this contract will be used in support of various Department of Defense Commands and Installations and other federal agencies. Please view the attatched Performance Work Statement and Sources Sought containing the capabilites questionaire. This notice is for market research purposes only and is not a request for proposals (RFP) and does not constitute a solicitation nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. This notice is open for responses from both small and large businesses. Responses will be used to determine if this requirement, or a portion of this requirement, can be set-aside for small businesses. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
