All listed salient characteristics are applicable to custom Orthotic braces, orthosis and insoles are listed below: a. Customizable: Each brace is tailored to the specific needs of the individual patient, ensuring proper fit of abnormalities and deformities for improved compliance and long-term wearability, improving treatment efficacy and patient well-being, and therefore reducing the risk of adverse rejections due to discomfort/abrasions. b. Pathology Specific braces: provide a wide range of brace designs to treat multiple lower extremity pathologies on patients that otherwise could not be fit with pre- fabricate braces. c. Multiple impression techniques: The manufacturing process for the custom braces incorporates a 3D scan technology, measurements, or molds to ensure precise fabrication of the braces. Scanning technology is preferred due to its accuracy, and efficiency. Additionally, impression molds or measurements may be necessary to capture specific patient anatomical details that cannot be captured through scanning. d. Treatment of multiple conditions: This approach aids patients with multiple lower extremity conditions such as Charcot arthropathy, neuropathy, and ulceration who are unable to be fitted with a prefabricated brace. The goal is to prevent medical complications and comorbidities, such as the need for amputation.
