The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District requires architect/engineer (A/E) services for the final design, and development of construction plans and specifications (P&S). The project consists of remediation of contaminated sediments specific to using carbon amendments at the Scanlon Reservoir on the St. Louis River located near Duluth, MN. The 35% design from the initial phase of the demonstration project will be updated to the final design step. From the final design, Certified P&S will be developed for bidding. The required services for this requirement will be continued from the original task order and corresponding modification. The goal of the project is to complete the final design and development of construction plans and specifications for remediation of contaminated sediments specific to using carbon amendments at the Scanlon Reservoir on the St. Louis River located near Duluth, MN. This action is being issued under 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, which will allow the A/E to complete the final design and construction documents of the requirement. In accordance with 6.302-1(d)(2) any bids, proposals, quotations, or capability statements received in response to this notice will be considered.
