The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking firms that have the capability to provide lawn maintenance on the four quadrants of land located at the Army Corps of Engineers Duluth Area Office and Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center. All work is located at 600 S. Lake Ave, Duluth, MN 55802 The Duluth Area Office and Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center are located in the historic Canal Park at the foot of the Aerial Lift Bridge. The USACE owns and maintains the 4 (four) quadrants of land that the Aerial Lift Bridge is located on. The four quandrants consist of a total of approximately 100,500 SF. Services to be performed will include lawn mowing, lawn aeration, lawn fertilizing/pesticides, and spring and fall cleanup. Lawn mowing services will be required once a week from 15 May through 31 October of each year and will also consist of trimming and cleanup services. Lawn Aeration will be conducted on all quandrants and will be required once in the early spring and once in the fall. Lawn Fertilizaion/Pesticides will be applied to all lawn areas when applicable up to 4 times per year and will target seasonal weed growth and pests. Spring and Fall Cleanup will consist of removing all leaves, trash, and debris prior to the first mowing. All leaves, trash, and debris will also be removed from the grounds after mowing is completed in late October.
