The Army Contracting Command-Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) is seeking to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of the community, to include both small and large businesses. The Request for Information (RFI) is for the manufacturing of: NOUN: M2A2 Aiming Circle NSN: 6675-01-067-0687 LIN: A22496 NAICS Code: 334519 Description: The Government possess ownership of the technical data package (TDP) for this item. The M2A2 Aiming Circle provides precise measurement of azimuth and elevation angles of a ground or aerial target with respect to a preselected baseline for orientation and laying a battery. The M2A2 Aiming Circle supports mortars, towed artillery, self-propelled artillery, and Air Defense Artillery including Patriot and THAAD. The USG would like to use this survey information to determine if any contractors are available to produce this item. There is no risk to you for participating in this survey. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no obligation incurred by the United States Government (USG). The USG will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. However, this is an important opportunity for you to influence the development of requirements, our budget requests, and the full range of other elements supporting the acquisition strategy for this program.
