The United States Army, referred to herein as the United States Government (USG), is seeking information via this Request for Information (RFI), to assess the marketplace availability and industry capabilities to produce a commercially available trailer or equivalent that has already met, as verified through test, the attached USG Army Technical Purchase Description (ATPD) M870A4 Semitrailer, Lowbed, Construction Equipment Transporter (SLCET) 40 Ton (ATPD-2395H, dated 04 March 2021), or with modifications, has the capability to meet the requirements of ATPD-2395H. If modifications to a commercially available trailer or equivalent are necessary to meet the ATPD-2395H requirements, the USG seeks to understand the extent of any such modifications in terms of time and cost.
