The objective of the research project is to assist with a study of the potential impact of DENV infection on military readiness and specifically includes development of mathematical models that address the probability of infection given travel to specific places at specific times, the probability of apparent illness upon infection (which is different for individuals of different characteristics), and the duration and severity of that apparent illness.
