The Department of Army intends to consolidate its RS3 and ITES-3S contract requirements into a single contract vehicle for the MAPS acquisition. This consolidation is justified as it is projected to lower overall prices, generate operational efficiencies, and improve mission performance by eliminating duplicative procurement and management efforts.
