SUBJECT: AIMES Software Suite Licenses and Maintenance Renewal This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is PANAPG-23-P-0000- 002209, and this solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) is requesting a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) quotation for Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) AIMES Software Suite Licenses and Maintenance. This effort is in support of the Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Software Engineering Center (SEC) in support of Distributed Common Ground System-Army Family of System (DCGS-A FOS). This procurement will consist of one (1) twelve (12) month base year with three (3) optional (12) month subscription periods with an anticipated award date of 14 August 2023. It is the Government’s intent to make a sole source award utilizing the authority set 10 U.S.C. § 3204(a)(1) as implemented by (FAR) Part 6.302-(a)(2)(ii)(A) Substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition. The 2022 North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 513210 – Software Publishers. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 7A21. Quotations are due within three (3) business days of this notification, no later than close of business at 1600 (EST) on 09 August 2023.
