The U.S. Army is conducting market research through a Sources Sought/RFI to identify sources capable of chartering (leasing) shipping vessels to provide transportation services for the MOSAIC program during Broad Ocean Area test missions. MOSAIC is a critical telemetry data collection and flight safety asset supporting hypersonic and long-range missile defense testing. There is a current and growing capacity shortfall for transportable telemetry/flight safety system instrumentation, and MOSAIC must be flight-safety certified to support flight safety missions.
