This is a Design/Build requirement for Replace Chillers, Building 81504 (North Plant) located at Fort Huachuca, AZ under Work Order- No. CAB00087-7J, RFP No. W9124A22R0007. The contractor shall provide design/build services and furnish all labor, material, equipment, supervision, transportation, permits, fees and licenses necessary to replace three (3) chillers, three (3) chilled water pumps, three (3) injection pumps, and associated valves, piping, and controls at the North Plant, Building 81504, located at Fort Huachuca, AZ. Reference attachment Advanced Copy Statement of Objectives (SOO) North Plant Chiller Replacement for this requirement. The tentative date for issuing the RFP is on or around June 15, 2022; with proposals due 30 calendar days later on-or-around July 18, 2022 (the RFP will state the exact time/date that proposals are due). The anticipated contract award date is approximately 15 calendar days or less after receipt of proposals. The Contract Performance Period is 200 working days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Location of the work is at 857 Stein St., Building 81504, Fort Huachuca, AZ 85613. NAICS Code 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors is applicable to this RFP solicitation and the Small Business Size Standard is $16.5 M. The Construction Cost Range for this project (Magnitude of Construction) is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. You will have to park in the parking lot at the gate and go to the building and check in. Please allow yourself plenty of time so you can be on time for the Site Visit. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded. Note: Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Cochise County, AZ will apply. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation. It is determined that it is in the best interest of the Government to use lowest price technically acceptable source selection process for this requirement.
