SUBJECT: Synopsys Synplify Software Maintenance and Support This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is PANAPG-22-P-0000-009615 and this solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) is requesting a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) delivery order for Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Synopsys Synplify Software Maintenance and Support Products with yearly renewals. This effort is in support of Software Engineering Center (SEC) Intelligence, Program Executive Office Command Control Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T) Fires Division and the Intelligence Electronic Warfare & Sensors (IEW&S) and Army Reprogramming Analysis Team - Program Office (ARAT-PO). This procurement will consist of a one (1) twelve (12) month base subscription period and two (2) twelve (12) month option subscription periods with an anticipated award date of 28 June 2023. It is the Government’s intent to make a sole source award utilizing the authority set forth in Application for brand-name descriptions, 41 United States Code § 1901 as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a)(1)(ii), sole source (including brand name) acquisitions under the authority of the simplified procedures for certain commercial products and commercial services. The 2022 North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 513210 – Software Publishers. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 7A21. Product Descriptions – This requirement is for the purchase of a one (1) twelve (12) month base subscription period and two (2) twelve (12) month option subscription periods of the COTS Synopsys Synplify Software Maintenance and Support Renewal.
