The United States Army Product Manager Satellite Communications (PdM SATCOM) rapidly designs, acquires, fields and supports fully integrated, easy to operate and cost effective tactical satellite communications and services that meet Joint Services' network communications requirements around the world. The Government requires logistics support for the development of the logistic documentation required to establish and maintain Sustainment Support Packages (SSPs) for each terminal variant and configuration. Tasks on this effort will include logistics/maintainability analysis, provisioning, technical manuals, training, and development of technical data packages. DESCRIPTION OF EFFORT. Project Manager Tactical Network in support of Transportable Tactical Command Communications (T2C2) is seeking information on how an interested contractor could provide Logistics and Management Support Services: THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Task Execution Plan (RTEP) or a promise to issue an RTEP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Army is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RTEP, if any is issued. Please note, the information received from this RFI is used to help the Government refine the requirement and help identify areas of ambiguity so that, if released, the RTEP is well defined. Any feedback/questions as a result of this RFI, will not be responded to directly and will be addressed in the final RTEP if the Government deems necessary.
