Sources Sought Announcement The Army Contracting Command in Aberdeen Proving Ground is seeking a Small Business Development Program 8(a) participant with an active certification under the proposed NAICS Code 238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors) who have the capability to provide Maintenance and Repair of Traffic Signals and Controls at the US Army Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland locations. SCOPE OF WORK The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, components, parts, transportation, tools, equipment, and work required to maintain traffic on Aberdeen Proving Ground and associated satellite facilities in Harford County, Maryland. Provide professional traffic engineering; including but not limited to site visits, studies, data collection, analysis, timing, plans, sketches, drawings, both verbal and written reports, recommendations, justifications, guidance, reviews, and comments. Routine and Emergency repair and maintenance of traffic systems, and controls. APG has both an interconnected signal network and individual signals not connected to this network. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to the stated NAICS Code. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a RFP may be issued. Response to this notice is strictly voluntary and will not affect any corporation’s ability to submit an offer if and when a solicitation is released. There is no bid package or solicitation document associated with this announcement.
