INTRODUCTION The U.S. Army, 414th Contracting Brigade out of Vicenza, Italy is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement for providing B6 UPARMORED 7 PASSANGER 4X4 SUV VEHICLE. The intention is to procure this requirement on a competitive basis. ELIGIBILITY The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 532111. The Product Service Code is 2310. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond; however, each respondent must clearly identify their business size in their capabilities statement. The contract type is anticipated to be Firm-Fixed-Price. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION, with one award made. Telephone inquiries will NOT be accepted or acknowledged. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Baledogle, Somalia PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The estimated period of performance consists of a period of 46 days with performance commencing on or around 1 July 2019. REQUIRED CAPABILITIES The Contractor shall provide rental vehicle support, and all materials, equipment, and maintenance to support this vehicle requirement. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND SUBMISSION DETAILS (CAPABILITIES STATEMENT) Interested parties are requested to submit a capabilities statement of no more than five (5) pages in length in Times New Roman font of not less than 10 pitch. The deadline for response to this request is no later than the deadline specified in the sources sought. All responses under this Sources Sought Notice MUST be electronically submitted in either Microsoft Word or Portable Document Format (PDF) to Mr. Raul Medina, Contracting NCO, at raul.medina45.mil@mail.mil, courtesy copy to Miss Tabatha Carpentier, Contracting NCO, at tabatha.l.carpentier.mil@mail.mil. This documentation must address at a minimum the following item(s): 1.) Provide a statement including System of Award Management (SAM), DUN's, Cage code, etc...). If you are not registered in SAM, indicate you will need guidance on registering in SAM. You must have an active registration in SAM to do business with the Federal Government. SAM is a requirement for all US vendors. Non-Us Vendors will be required to be screened by the military intelligence team and receive an acceptable rating in order to conduct business with the government. All data received in response to this Sources Sought Notice that is marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from any release outside the Government.
