This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. There is no bid package or solicitation. The 413th Regional Contracting Office Alaska is using is conducting a market survey of firms that are capable of providing Replicated Class V BA15 Mortar Ammunition (See attached Exhibit 1). Deliverible: The amount of replicated ammunition the Army is trying to acquire for this year's rotation is 60MM mortar ammunition with both inner and outer packaging from 1 x rifle company’s worth (480 on the low end) to 1 x rifle battalion worth (1440 on the high end). Firms that choose to respond to this sources sought notice are requested to provide a brief synopsis of work that the firm has performed previously that is the same or similar to the requirements. Firms are also requested to provide their small business size and status (i.e. HUBzone, SDVOSB, etc) if applicable. Comments wil NOT be taken at this time. Responses of one page are considered adequate to address the information being requested at this time.
