This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be taken as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award contract. The following draft performance work statement is for Cesspools, Septic Tanks, and Aerobic Treatment Unit (ATU) Pumping and Disposal Service. The contractor shall perform cesspools, septic tanks, and Aerobic Treatment Unit (ATU) monthly inspections. The intent of the inspection services portion of this contract is to provide required information to the Contracting Officers Representative (COR) and the Directorate of Public Works Environmental Division on waste that is generated during military exercises and performance of cesspools and septic tanks. The data will be used by the contractor to determine pumping and cleaning schedule. No overflows should occur due to overfilled tanks. For ATU systems, inspect ATU equipment to ensure proper operation. Provide regular maintenance of equipment as required by the manufacturer. Verify the aerobic system is providing adequate mixing and aeration of the microbes. Measure the depth or volume of sludge in the ATU and assess if sludge removal is necessary. Provide sludge pumping, as needed. If pumping is necessary, record the depth of sludge or percentage of sludge volume in the ATU prior to pumping. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified firms relative to the North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code 562991. Please provide the following information on your capability statement: 1) Your intent to submit a quote for this requirement when it is formally advertised; 2) Name of firm with address, phone number, e-mail address, and point of contact; 3) CAGE Code and SAM Unique Entity ID (UEI) 4) Size of firm including category of small business, such as 8(a), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), HUBZone, Small Disadvantaged Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB); and 5) Statement of Capability stating your skills, experience, and knowledge required to perform the specific type of work. Firms responding to this sources sought notice, who fail to provide all of the required information requested, will not be used to assist the Government in the acquisition decision, which is the intent of this sources sought notice.
