Introduction: The U.S. Army, Sembach Kaserne, Germany, through this sources sought notice, seeks information from potential vendors capable of providing high-speed internet services in support of the Armed Forces Network (AFN). This notice is issued in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and serves as market research to determine the availability of qualified sources that can fulfill the requirements detailed herein. Please note that this notice is not a solicitation for offers, proposals, or bids, and no contract will be awarded based on responses received. Background: The U.S. Army, Sembach Kaserne, Germany, requires high-speed internet services to support the Armed Forces Network, which provides vital communication and media services to military personnel stationed at the installation. The internet connectivity should be reliable, secure, and capable of delivering a minimum speed of 100 Megabits per second (Mb/s). Scope of Services: The required high-speed internet services should encompass the following key elements: a. Bandwidth: The internet service provider must be capable of delivering a minimum speed of 100 Mb/s, with the ability to support potential increases in demand as required. b. Reliability: The internet connectivity should provide a consistent and reliable service, minimizing downtime and disruptions to ensure continuous access for AFN operations. c. Security: The vendor must adhere to robust security measures to protect the network infrastructure and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data transmitted over the network. d. Support: The selected vendor shall provide responsive technical support to address any connectivity issues or service interruptions promptly. Response Instructions: Interested parties are invited to respond to this sources sought notice by providing the following information: a. Company Name and Contact Information: Include the legal name of your company, SAM Registration Number, point of contact, email address, telephone number, and physical address. b. Capabilities Statement: Provide a brief description of your company's experience and expertise in delivering high-speed internet services, particularly within military or government environments. Highlight any relevant past performance or ongoing contracts related to internet service provision. c. Technical Approach: Describe your proposed technical solution for meeting the required minimum internet speed of 100 Mb/s, including details on the network infrastructure, equipment, and any additional technologies employed to ensure reliability and security. d. Contract Vehicles: Indicate if your company holds any applicable contracting vehicles or certifications that would facilitate doing business with the U.S. Army, such as General Services Administration (GSA) schedules or Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) contracts. e. Small Business Classification: If your company is a small business, please indicate the appropriate small business category under which you qualify (e.g., Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, etc.).
