Regional Contracting Office Wiesbaden intends to competitively award a firm fixed price (FFP) contract for the construction of drinking water network at McCully Barracks Mainz Wackernheim, USAG Wiesbaden, Germany. Period of Performance: 30 Sep 2022 - 31 Dec 2022 Magnitude of Work: Estimated between $90,000.00 and $105,000.00 Government's actual minimum needs: See attached SOW – Perform Construction of Drink Water Network. This is a Request for Technical Proposals and will be conducted as a Two Step Sealed Bid under Subpart 14.5 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). It will be difficult to submit an acceptable technical proposal without attending the scheduled site visit, so all interested vendors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed, to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. SITE VISIT: A one-time site visit for this requirement will be held. DATE: 26 July 2022 TIME: 09:00 hours Central European Time (CET) LOCATION: Mainz-Wackernheim, McCullky Barracks, Front Gate, Germany No later than 14:00 hrs. Central European Time (CET) on 25 July 2022, interested vendors shall inform Degenhard Will, degenhard.will3.ln@army.mil and Leyla L.Campell, leyla.l.campbell.civ@army.mil of their intent to attend the site visit. This notification shall include the full names of all attendees. A maximum of two (2) representatives from each vendor may attend the site visit. Site visit attendees are required to be at the main gate of McCully Barracks no later than 09:00 hrs (CET) on the scheduled date. The meeting point for the site visit is the Visitors Entrance at the Gate on McCully Barracks. All attendees must present their identification card or passport and car registration to gain entry. Security guards may perform body search and/or vehicle inspections.
