The questions and answers are as follows: Q1. Approximately, how many people will require this service? A1: We estimate 86 trips based on last year’s schedule: That is 43 trips from Munich Airport to Edelweiss Lodge in Garmisch and 43 returns. Q2. Do you request transportation services by trip according to a specific arrival and departure schedule or require the vehicles stay in the assigned locations? A2: Yes, the driver departures should be based on actual arrival times. The Vendor should monitor arrival times based on flight information the gov’t provides. We want to avoid asking the vendor to arrive more than 20 minutes prior and, therefore, avoid parking fees we incurred last year. Q3. How many hours per vehicle per day do you require?, normally we provide 12, 16 or 24 hours shifts. A3: Defer to the vendor on this. It will depend on how many vehicles and drivers they provide to support the requirement. The more vehicles available the less time each will be required. We can plan for the first arrival at 0600 and the last at 2000. Referencing last year’s schedule, the first arrival was at 0745 and the last was at 1557. ORIGINAL The Regional Contracting Office - Wiesbaden (RCO-W) intends to solicit and competitvely award a single non-personal services contract to provide business class, chauffeured transportation services for personnel from Munich International Airport to Edelweiess Lodge and Resort in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and return. Personnel will be arriving between 20-21 June 2023 and departing 23-24 June 2023. Background: The majority of the personnel will arrive at the Munich International Airport on 21 June 2023 and will require transport to the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort within 30 minutes of exiting the arrivals terminal. A small number of personnel may arrive at the Munich International Airport on 20 June 2023 and will require transport to the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort within 30 minutes of exiting the arrivals terminal. Transportion will be required to the Munich International Airport after 1200 on 23 June 2023 for personnel to take afternoon and evening flights or to a hotel in Munich, Germany. Some personnel will remain overnight, 23 June 2023 at the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort and will require transport to the Munich International Airport throughout the day, Saturday, 24 June 2023. Arrival and departure times will, more than likely, be spread across a 12-18 hour timeframe. Personnel parties will range in size from 2 to 5. Scope: The Contractor shall provide non-personal service(s) for professional drivers with Personenbeförderungsschein (passenger transport license) and business class vehicles (sedans and vans) that meet all appropriate motor vehicle requirements, within the Federal Republic of Germany and the State of Bavaria, necessary to perform services. The vehicles should be of executive or business class style and able to, comfortably, accommodate up to five passengers with luggage. Historical Info: Historically, we have required approximately 66 sedan transports and 20 van transports across the 4 day period.
