Performance Period: Estimated 300 calendar days. Magnitude of Work: Estimated between $700,000.00 and $825,000.00 Government's actual minimum needs: See attached Statements of Work (SOW) – Perform Interior Renovation. This is action will be conducted as a Two Step Sealed Bid under Subpart 14.5 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). First step will be to submit a Technical Proposal. Only technically acceptable proposals will be invited to submit a price bid. It will be difficult to submit an acceptable technical proposal without attending the scheduled site visit, so all interested vendors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed, to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. SITE VISIT: A one-time site visit for this requirement will be held. DATE: 29 August 2022 TIME: 0800 CET LOCATION: We will meet at the Lucius D. Clay Kaserne Visitor Center, 65205 Wiesbaden, Germany, before meeting in front of building #1203 No later than 14:00 hrs. Central European Time (CET) on 26 August 2022, interested vendors shall inform Ms. Joan Ahuja, joan.ahuja1.ln@army.mil and Mr. Andrew W. Green, andrew.w.green17.civ@army.mil of their intent to attend the site visit. This notification shall include the full names of all attendees. A maximum of two (2) representatives from each vendor may attend the site visit. Vendors shall include the full names of all attendees and if they currently have installation access. All attendees will be required to present their identification card or passport and car registration to gain entry. Security guards may perform body search and/or vehicle inspections. IMPORTANT: Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) by the date of submission of proposals/quotes/offers/bids.
