All future communication regarding this requirement will come from the posting using solicitation number W564KV-19-Q-FDG1. ---------------------------------------------- U.S. Army Europe must replace their heavy vehicle roller brake test machines in order to remain compliant with updated EU regulations. These replacements must be in place no later than 31 December 2019. We are currently seeking feedback on the requirements to learn more about the market conditions. The Army requires replacement of two types of roller brake test machines (In ground and Ramp). The attached MS Excel Sheet lists the location of each system and the attached PDF provides the salient characteristics for each system. We anticipate requesting proposals in July 2019 with an estimated award in September 2019. Questions for industry: 1) Is your company able to provide installation at all the required sites? 2) Is there benefit to separating the requirements out by region (Germany and the rest of Europe)? 3) How long will it take to remove the old systems and install the new ones? Is it possible to have all systems replaced by 31 December with a 30 September 2019 contract award? 4) Do the current draft documents provide enough information to submit a bid on this requirement? If not, what is needed? Please provide responses to this notice no later than close of business 27 May 2019.
