This project will renovate the interior space of an existing 20,800 SF Building 531 located at Air Force Plant 42 in Palmdale, CA. The work entails upgrades and new finishes throughout the facility to include the Management and Supervisor Offices, Break Room, Locker Room, Tool Room, Supply Room, Mechanical and Electrical Area, General Purpose ‘Trade’ Work Bays, Information Technology Room, and Custodial Room, In addition to the renovations, approximately 3,000SF of hangar floor will be converted to office space with storage mezzanine above. Mechanical, Electrical and Telecommunications upgrades will be constructed to support the new facility layout and operations. The renovation will be conducted in a phased approach. The first phase updates the facility with the assumption that vehicle maintenance activities currently housed within B531 remain. The second phase updates the remainder of the facility after the vehicle maintenance activities have been removed.
