This is a SOURCES SOUGHT (SS) NOTICE for Market Research Purposes ONLY. This information will be used to determine the availability of Contractors capable of meeting the Government’s minimum requirements. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, Jacksonville, FL is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to determine whether there are potentially qualified firms capable of providing an Ordnance Deformer in accordance with the Salient Characteristics within the Draft Description of Requirements (DOR) provided. The Government may use the responses to this notice for information and planning purposes. It is anticipated that any resulting solicitation will be for a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract, with a Product Service Code (PSC) of 4250, and NAICS Code of 333922. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: (1) Company name, address, POC name, phone and email (2) Contractor Cage Code and DUNS number (3) Business size for the proposed NAICS Code and any associated socioeconomic status for that business size. (4) Salient characteristics of the item that would be offered. Respondents to this notice may also use this opportunity to propose a different NAICS code for this requirement should they feel it is more appropriate for the item. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice shall not exceed ten (10) pages. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought Notice. No telephone calls requesting a solicitation package will be accepted as this is not a solicitation. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any, that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the Government Technical Point of Contact (GTPOC) will not be provided and no appointments for presentation will be made.
