The acquisition of Ballistic Glass to enable the protection and visual capabilities of Gate 2 (Kenny Gate) and Gate 3 (Bellevue Gate) on Offutt AFB. Due to the condition of the current ballistic glass, the 55th SFS is needs to replace the current glass. Security Forces are required to monitor avenues of approach and detect any threats to the installation. Due to the current condition of the glass, Security Forces is not able to accomplish that function which degrades the Installation Access Control Points ability to protect Offutt AFB personnel and assets.
