NGA requires Red Hat OpenShift AI software licenses to provide an enterprise-ready AI/ML platform within its existing Red Hat OpenShift environment. The pilot program would use this commercial software to support development, training, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of AI/ML models and data science workloads in a secure, scalable, containerized environment. Because the requirement is for a proprietary product that must integrate with the Government’s existing Red Hat OpenShift environment, NGA coordinated with the manufacturer, Red Hat, Inc. Red Hat does not sell directly to the Government and identified Flywheel Data, LLC as the only authorized reseller/partner capable of providing the required subscriptions and associated support.
