The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land and Maritime intends to award a two-month contract under the terms and conditions of SPE7LX15D0065, which is held by MTU America (72582). Period of performance is from March 31, 2020 to May 31, 2020. The current ceiling of $47,789,877 will be increased to $50,789,877. No RFP/solicitation will be issued to the public, as this adjustment will be made to the aforementioned existing contract. This is a firm-fixed price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. (1) National Stock Numbers (NSNs): Multiple NSNs (attached spreadsheet) with MTU America as the sole approved source. (2) Unit of issue: EACH (3) Delivery schedule: Varied (4) Duration of the contract period: 2 Months (5) The Government intends to solicit from only MTU America. The anticipated award date is March 31, 2020. (6) This proposed action will be processed in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The Justification and Approval (J&A) will be posted as required once the action is awarded. (7) All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation in response to this notice, which shall be considered by the agency. Any responses shall be submitted by March 10, 2020. (8) In accordance with FAR 5.102(e), upon request within the specified response period listed herein, the Contracting Officer may provide copies of the solicitation to firms requesting it that were not originally solicited (i.e. not the above-referenced sole source) if the acquisition is intended to move forward.

DLA Land and Maritime is seeking information regarding companies’ capabilities to provide various NSNs (see attached spreadsheet) on an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity IDIQ) basis. This notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or in any way provide implication or obligation that a solicitation/RFP be will released in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service for these requirements.
