Update 1: All questions must be sent by COB 28 Sep 2023. Interested parties without an active DD2345 will not be able to access the attachment(s). For access, please complete the required form to gain access. Interested parties must provide their CAGE so the Government can verify the interested parties have been cleared to access the RFI attachment(s); requests in SAM without a CAGE will be rejected. Please contact Shawn Walles at shawn.walles@us.af.mil if you have any questions. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes, it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This RFI does not commit the United States Government (USG) to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Air Force is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the USG will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. This Request for Information (RFI) is being released by AFLCMC/HNJJ to gain needed insights from industry sources to aid in the formulation of an acquisition strategy, conduct market research, and to identify suitable technical solutions for the rapid development of a suite of interoperable 3U OpenVPX tactical capabilities. These capabilities are collectively referred to as the Next-Generation Security Solution (NGSS).
