The kit virtualizes the services, applications, network routing and switching, security monitoring, and other requirements specified in the CSfC CP. Since purchasing the kit, the tailored security solution was updated and revised by the National Security Agency, so the kit requires implementation and integration of the new security solution so that it complies with the current CP. In addition to the implementation and integration services. C5AD already owns the SMART gateway. Buying a new one would be over $150,000, and will still require additional implantation and integration services. Oceus Networks, Inc. has proprietary ownership for tailored implementation and integration, as well as the cellular solution. No other vendor can build the tailored version of the C5AD SMART Gateway.
