The Contractor shall provide all services, including materials, labor, and installation required to perform the work described in this SOW, i.e. furnish and install a 40 lb. Commercial Washer and a 6 Cycle Commercial Dryer in the Rec Hall. The Contractor shall provide installation services in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and in accordance with the publications listed in the attached RFQ. Work shall include but is not limited to the following: Contractor shall furnish and install a 40 lb Commercial Washer and a 6-cycle Commercial Dryer in the Rec Hall in the room shown on the attached RFQ. The washer shall be a commercial rated, model T-600, 40 lb capacity Washer as manufactured by Dexter, or approved equal. The dryer shall be a commercial rated, 6 Cycle, model T-50 Express Dryer as manufactured by Dexter, or approved equal. The dryer shall be heated by propane gas. The washer and dryer shall be anchored to the floor with drill-in type anchor bolts by Hilti, or equal, of the type and size as required by manufacturer’s specifications. The anchorage attachment shall resist the vibration from the spin cycle of a capacity load in the washer or dryer. Contractor shall connect the washer to an existing 2” drain line in the room where the washer is installed and also connect to existing water lines and electrical receptacle in that room. Contractor shall connect the dryer to an existing propane gas line in the room next to the washer/dryer room, and install the dryer vent pipe through the exterior wall of the washer/dryer room. Contractor shall clean up the worksite daily and dispose of all construction debris off the property. Contractor shall submit with the response to this RFQ, complete specifications for the washer and dryer that is included in their proposal. Contractor shall provide instructions for operation and care of the new washer and dryer to the facility staff, including submittal of any manufacturer’s operation and maintenance instructions. Contractor shall provide a written warranty on all materials and labor for a period of one year (longer if standard for materials/equipment) from the date of acceptance by the POC.
