The Department of the Navy / Assistant for Administration (DON/AA), Facilities Services and Support Division (FSSD) has a requirement for the procurement of FEDSTA 2807B high security locks needed to provide protection of classified spaces and containers in accordance with Federal Specification FF-L-2740B. In order to ensure the products conform to the specification requirements, GSA enlisted the services of the DoD Lock Program to evaluate and test the products against the specification requirements. DoD Lock Program was established under the authority of the Assistant Secretary of Defense and prescribed in DoDM 5200.01, and in addition, Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) local policy for Pentagon.
