This amended synopsis to provide information that was inadvertently omitted from the original synopsis, as well as make a correction to the sole sourced contractors name. The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk - Pentagon Directorate intends to acquire, via sole source acquisition, Military Operations Research Support (MORS) Services. The Military Operations Research Support Services Assessment Division, Office of The Chief of Naval Operations (N81). N81 needs support collaboration, sharing of classified work, exchange of information, critical peer review and feedback as well as development of subsequent generations of operations analysts. In support of these tasks, the contractor will require access to classified information up to and including SECRET, and shall conform to all requirements contained in the contract DD-254, DoD Manual 5220.22-M and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual. There was a source sought posted on 14 December 2023 for this requirement. There were no responses to the sources sought. It is the intent of the Government to process this procurement under FAR Subpart 15 and to ultimately award a firm fixed priced (FFP), single award, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract on a sole source basis to Military Operations Research Society as a result of the forthcoming solicitation. Performance is anticipated to begin on 18 March 2024. The applicable NAICS is 813920 This notice of intent is not a request for quotes - however, the Government will consider information received by the specified response date. Information received as a result of this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government and will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice.
