The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to procure on a sole source basis Sentran Part Number PH3-DB-300K-A Load Cell , dual channel, 300,000lb, low-profile, stainless steel body, 0.1% accuracy class, 700 Ohm dual full bridges, 3mV/V sensitivity, IP 67 sealed, with tension plate. The anticipated award will be made to Sentran (CAGE Code: 4C595). This acquisition is being pursued under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government does not own current data, technology, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will consider all responses received within 15 days after the publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government
