Request is for procurement/replacement of batteries that have reached end of life for Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) equipment in support of critical data, voice, and Defense Switch Network (DSN) switches in Buildings 5, 8, 37, 357, 567, 1802, and 3307 on Naval Station Rota, Spain. This requirement is for the installation, and testing of four hundred and sixteen (416) Valve-Regulated, Lead-Acid (VRLA) batteries 12V 51Ah at 1.75Vpc. Batteries will provide a minimum duration of 8 hours for voice, video, and data equipment not covered by generator power services at 7 switch nodes dispersed throughout Naval Station Rota, Spain. The procurement will also include removal and disposing of the old battery banks consistent with local laws governing the treatment of such materials.
