Subject to FAR Clause 52.215-3, entitled Solicitation for Information of Planning Purpose, this announcement constitutes a Sources Sought for information and planning purposes for qualified and experienced sources to operate and maintain leased local exchange access commercial network service, path/interface to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) to support simultaneous access, transmission and switching of voice, high-speed data and image services (video teleconferencing) and includes 18 NPC PRI services. Trunking service shall terminate on the Navy’s Avaya SL8700 telephone switching platform located in Building 776 Naval Support Activity (NSA) Mid-South Millington, TN. Present service/inventory counts on all schedules are not all inclusive and will vary according to service level requirements. These services are required by Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Atlantic (NCTAMS LANT). This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. It is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. The Government plans to procure these services as Commercial Item as defined in FAR 2.101.
