The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), Kingsville has a requirement to provide friction tests at two runways, conduct rubber removal, and paint all associated runway markings at runways 13L/13R. The runways need this work to be completed to ensure that they are safe for flight operations. The contractor is to provide (2) Runway Friction Test(s) of Runway 13L/13R. The contractor shall remove the built-up rubber from the carrier deck and runway ends of NASK 13L/13R, reference attachment one for 13L approximately 76,112sqft, and attachment two for 13R for rubber removal approximately 33,005 sqft.
