Request for Proposal N69450-24-R-0077, Design-Build (BD), Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Construction Contract for Rappel Tower at Paragon Army Base, Barbados. This project is being offered sole source to PRECONCO LTD. In accordance with Justification & Approval (J&A) N69450-24-0436. This procurement is being solicited in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302.2, Unusual and Compelling, as a sole source procurement. This project is located at Paragon Army Base, Charnocks, Barbados. The general scope of this requirement includes but is not limited to design and construction of a four-story multipurpose rappel tower structure to facilitate rappelling, rock climbing, fast roping and traditional rope climbing. Due to high winds and corrosive environment, the rappel tower must be constructed of precast concrete. The proposed action is herein synopsized on the Government wide Point of Entry (GPE) as required by FAR 5.201. The J&A will be posted to Sam.Gov Opportunities in accordance with FAR 6.305. IAW FAR 36.204, the magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000.
