Due to the need for travel on roads that require toll payments and the increasing amount of toll roads that have been put into place over the years a contract vehicle needs to be established. This contract will be used to cover only tolls incurred at Elizabeth River Crossings (ERC) owned and operated toll roads. ERC operates and maintains the following toll roads in Virginia. • Norfolk-Portsmouth Downtown Tunnel • Norfolk-Portsmouth Midtown Tunnel • Norfolk-Portsmouth South Norfolk Jordan Bridge This Contract will serve as the base for making payments for the use of toll roads for official travel. This contract will set up the framework for making these payments by the following method; PAY BY PLATE only charges will be addressed and paid as they are received by the Transportation Branch Core Department. In the event a toll charge is not the responsibility of the Transportation Branch it will be forwarded to the correct command for them to address and make payment.
