DUE NO LATER THAN 31 January 2019 2PM EST Project Description: The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to construct a new communications shelter site, 2 whip antenna foundations, primary and secondary power lines with a transformer and electric hook-up, and all communications lines for the shelter operation. The new Communication Shelter Site will include the construction of an unpaved parking area, a monolithic concrete slab, a security fence with barbed wire around the site, constructing the foundations for 2 new grounded whip antennas, the installation of a 12’x15’ prefabricated concrete communication Shelter, Installation of an emergency generator w/ dual walled fuel storage tank, Installation of a 3 phase primary power transformer w/ pass through, the trenching of a primary power line from an existing transformer to the newly placed one, a secondary power line from the newly placed transformer to the shelter, 2 communications lines from the existing Spiracone Antenna back to the new Communications Shelter, a single communication line from each of the 2 new Whip Antennas back to the new Communication Shelter, and a communication line from BLDG 131 to the new Communications Shelter. All construction will be located at NAS Jacksonville, FL. Submission Package: Interested sources are invited to respond to this sources sought announcement by submitting the following information: 1. Contractor Information: Provide your firm’s contact information (Point of Contact, phone, and email address), to include DUNS and Cage Code numbers. 2. Indicate if a solicitation is issued will your firm/company be submitting a proposal: _____ Yes ______No. 3. Type of Business: U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a). Bond Capacity: Provide your surety’s name, your maximum bonding capacity per individual project, and your aggregate bonding capacity. 5. Experience Submission Requirements: Submit a minimum of two (2) projects that demonstrate experience in performing efforts of a similar size, scope and complexity to the project description above (construction, renovation, alteration, demolitions and repair work including the necessary design); and completed within the last seven (7) years with an approximate completed value of $250,000-$500,000. Submissions shall contain the following items (a – g) for each project submitted for consideration. a. Include Contract Number, if applicable b. Indicate whether Prime contractor or Subcontractor c. Contract Value d. Completion Date e. Government/Agency point of contact and current telephone number. Please ensure all submissions have a point of contact otherwise they will not be considered valid. f. Project Description. Include a brief description, with sufficient detail, to determine whether this project is of a similar size and scope to the project description in this announcement; and how the contract referenced relates to the project description herein. g. Please include PPIRs evaluation for submitted projects if available. Capability Statements consisting of appropriate documentation, literature, brochures will be accepted providing it contains ALL the information required above (items 1-5).
