This is a notice of intent to sole-source, not an RFQ; the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, intends to award a firm fixed-price contract for Datawell Buoy Services Renewal (Qty 1 Job). The sole source is University of California San Diego, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Coastal Data Information Division (CDIP), La Jolla, CA, identified as the only vendor able to provide continuous previous/current ocean-condition measurements on the Sea Range needed for live-fire test programs; this is a continuing service renewal. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting a concise capability statement to Yvonne Stockwell at yvonne.c.stockwell.civ@us.navy.mil. Vendors must have an active SAM registration before award, and processing additional information may take at least 10-15 days. Contractors needing access to CUI or export-controlled information must be DLIS-certified, with DD 2345 approved and a single CAGE-code Data Custodian POC approved by DLA.
