This is a notice of intent to award a sole source firm-fixed-price contract, not a request for quotes. The contract is for service and maintenance of a GC Obitrap Mass Spectrometer for a base year and two option years, to Thermo Electron North America LLC as the original equipment manufacturer. Interested parties may submit a capability statement to demonstrate their ability to perform the work without compromising quality, accuracy, reliability, or schedule. Interested parties must be registered in SAM with an active status, and processing of registration may take at least 10-15 days. Contractors must also be certified through DLIS for access to Controlled Unclassified Information, with a DD 2345 approved prior to requesting access.
