The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division in China Lake, CA, intends to procure specific Siemens software licenses for both renewal and new purchases, requiring the contractor to provide technical troubleshooting services during the five-year period of performance. The requirement is for a brand name only, and the proposed vendor must be an authorized Siemens distributor or reseller. The Government will award a Fixed Price, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (FFP-IDIQ) contract. Contractors must be certified through Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) to access Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), with access coordinated through an approved Data Custodian. This acquisition is not a 100% small business set-aside.
The Naval Air Warfare Center intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price IDIQ contract to Siemens Industry Software Inc. of Plano, Texas, for specific Siemens software licenses and associated technical support. The work involves renewing existing licenses and purchasing new ones, with the contractor providing troubleshooting services during the period of performance. The location for performance is not specified. While this is a notice of intent and not a formal solicitation, firms believing they can fulfill the requirement may submit a written capability statement within 10 days of the notice's publication. Interested firms must be registered in SAM and certified through the Defense Logistics Information Services to handle controlled information.
