The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole-source contract modification to TRANE U.S. Inc. for additional unforeseen chiller repairs discovered during ongoing work. TRANE is the incumbent on-site contractor with the equipment disassembled and is uniquely positioned to complete the work without substantial duplication of cost, schedule delay, or warranty compromise. This is an informational notice of intent to sole source, not a request for quote, and no competitive quotes will be requested. Interested parties may submit a written capability statement demonstrating the ability to perform the required work without compromising quality, accuracy, reliability, or schedule. Vendors must maintain an active SAM registration, and access to CUI or export-controlled information requires DLIS certification and an approved DD 2345; SAM processing may take at least 10-15 days.
