The Naval Air Weapons Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), in support of Marine Corps Spectrum Integration Laboratory (MCSIL) is conducting market research to determine industry capabilities and the availability of production representative Small Form Factor (SFF) Mesh Network radios. This Request for Information (RFI) seeks to identify potential sources of SFF MESH NETWORK radios that are in production, have been or are currently being developed by industry and available within 12-18 months of potential contract award. THIS IS AN RFI ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a RFP or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the Government is not seeking proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in responding to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the respondent’s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if issued. If an RFP is released, it will be synopsized on SAM.gov website. It is the responsibility of the potential respondent to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. Any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement identified above may submit a written response which shall be considered by the agency. The written response shall reference solicitation number N6893622R0045 and provide a capability statement that clearly indicates the firm’s experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule. Vendors should appropriately mark any data that is proprietary or has restricted data rights. Responses shall be submitted by e-mail to the point(s) of contact listed below no later than 10/01/2022, to Liz Schlick, Contract Specialist, at elizabeth.a.schlick.civ@us.navy.mil and Tara Brandt, tara.m.brandt.civ@us.navy.mil. Interested firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://sam.gov/ to start doing business with the federal government. Contractors must be certified through Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) in order to access Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) or Export Controlled Information. Access to CUI is limited, to a single point of contact (POC) per CAGE code, who is listed as the Data Custodian on the DD 2345 and approved by Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The DD 2345 must be approved prior to requesting access to CUI in SAM.gov. Contractors are responsible for coordinating with their CAGE code’s Data Custodian POC to request access to CUI.
