The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division at China Lake, CA intends to procure on a full and open competitive basis. The purpose of the project is to eliminate safety concerns in and around the facility. Dangerously deteriorated wooden dock and barn doors will be demolished and removed, one of the barn doors will be replaced with a new rollup door and the other two will be walled in. A man door will be installed to provide an emergency exit, currently none exists. Inadequate lighting will also be corrected by replacement with new LED lighting. This requirement will be Firm Fixed Priced between $100,000 and $250,000.00. This project is priority and needs to be completed ASAP due to the safety issue the current situation presents. This requirement for 1) Dock Demolition and Removal (Qty 1 Job) in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. There will NOT be a site visit for this requirement, however there will be a Q&A posting. It is recommended that all interested parties be aware that processing this additional information may take several days and are proactive in maintaining the SAM registrations in an "Active" status as the government cannot award to an entity without an "Active" SAM registration.
