This Sources Sought is to conduct Market Research to determine if responsible sources exist and to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a Small Business Set-Aside. It is a market research tool for information and planning purposes only. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. PROGRAM DETAILS: Naval Air Warfare Center -Weapons Development (NAWCWD) is conducting market research seeking capable sources for TWO (2) Stratasys F900, 3D Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) machines. The Stratasys F900, 3D FDM machines sought are highly specialized and available only from distributors officially approved by Stratasys, the original developer and manufacturer. If you offer this product to both the U.S. Government and the public, briefly describe any differences for this product when offered to U.S. Government as opposed to the public. Documentation of technical expertise and capability must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise, certification, authorization and experience to source TWO (2) Stratasys F900, 3D FDM machines without compromising quality and schedule. It is imperative that business concerns responding to this notice articulate their capabilities clearly and adequately. Responses to this notice are expected to be no more than 10 pages in length, single-spaced, 12 point font minimum and fully demonstrating the ability to provide the products as stated above and in the attached statement of work.
