The Naval Air Warfare Center - Weapons Division (NAWCWD) AV-8B Joint Systems Support Activity (JSSA) has a requirement for an Embedded GPS/INS (EGI) tester to incorporate into the T-45/AV-8B JSSA Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL) as an integral part of overall component and aircraft platform integration and test environment. *PROCUREMENT TYPE The Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake, CA intends to procure a CAST 3000-LA EGI Tester capable of producing GPS RF Signals with simulated IMU sensor data that provide dynamic testing in the laboratory. The proposed contract is for a one-time time purchase with a twelve-month warranty. The government intends to award based on other than full and open competition under the authority of FAR 6.302, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency need. The system hardware requirement shall include a 12 SV Satellite Signal Generator (L1,L2,CA&P -Code, and AESM {pseudo-M-Code}), the 1553B interface, breakout box and cabling to the EGI for inertial data transfer, external trajectory data source. The contractor shall provide the system in a customized rack enclosure with an uninterruptible power supply, power conditioner, flat screen monitor, and key board. The system software shall include the CAST-3000 windows GUI software and the CAST-DLL Application programmers interface (API) to facilitate the development of a remote control over Ethernet capability. This remote control capability is necessary to support integration of the system with other SIL simulation resources. This requirement is limited to CAST Navigation LLC, which is the only provider for the CAST-3000-LA EGI Tester. Delivery will be Freight on Board (FOB) Destination, China Lake, California. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firms believing that they can fulfill the requirement may submit a written response to be received at the contracting office no later than 15 days after the date of publication of this notice, clearly showing its ability to do so without causing programmatic hardship or duplication of cost to the Government. Responses to this synopsis shall be submitted to the contracting office and reference solicitation number N68936-16-R-0026. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency.
